Let me start by saying, I purchased this webcam with my own money for my own use. No one gave me the webcam to use.

Like everyone else, I've been spending a lot of time working from home. However, I've been having to go into the office more frequently lately. I've been spending a lot of time in meetings on Zoom or WebEx. Because I didn't have a webcam, I would have to disconnect my laptop from the docking station, find enough books to prop the laptop upon and then connect to the meeting. It was a pain to do two or three times per day, every day, and also it made me unable to use my dual monitor setup while in a meeting. I figured that I would look into purchasing an inexpensive webcam strictly for the convenience factor.

And I found this one. It is a GREAT webcam. It's plug and play - no software to download and install. The webcam came with instructions, but really, I didn't need them. If you know how to use WebEx or Zoom, all you need to do is go into the video settings and select the usb webcam and you're in business. It's got an adjustable clamp so the webcam will sit on top of your monitor and you can tip it back and forth a bit, and it will STAY, because the clamp is made of a grippy rubber. It has a green "on" and red "off" indicator lights on the front of the webcam, so you can tell if you've turned it off or not. And best of all - there's a privacy shield that you can slide over the camera aperture so you're protected from anyone hacking in and watching you.

AND, not only is it super easy to use, with great features - this webcam is really affordably priced! This webcam is all pros and no cons - you should buy this one if you need one!
